COURSES Sermon Class The sermon class aims to prepare and equip students
for preaching and leading public worship.
The programme consists of a formal worship service (to be led by a
first or second year student) followed by a discussion session in which
criticisms and advice are offered by students and staff with regards to the
performance of the student concerned. All students who attend the college
must satisfactorily complete at least one sermon class before the end of
their second year of study. WS 101 Writing
Skills This course is
compulsory to all first year students for the duration of one semester
only. It is designed to equip students
with skills in studying, word processing, and essay writing. WS 301 Writing
Skills (Thesis Seminar) This is offered to
help students who may choose to undertake Research work and writing a Thesis
as part of their Degrees. Students are
offered guidelines on various areas like choosing topics for research,
understanding various approaches and techniques to research, and also the
technical aspects involved in the actual process of writing a thesis. The Seminar is conducted jointly by
selected members from all Departments in the College Teaching Staff. |
